Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using Steeping ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. The Service

Steeping is a bilingual listening tool. You paste a YouTube URL or text; we sentence-align the content and play each sentence in the original language followed by the language you're learning. We offer a free tier and paid Pro subscription with additional features.

3. Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. One account per person.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for illegal purposes.
• Generate audio of content you don't have rights to.
• Attempt to abuse, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service.
• Resell generated audio commercially without permission.

5. Billing

• Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly via Stripe.
• You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the billing period.
• We may change pricing with 30 days notice.

6. Content

You own the text you submit. We retain generated audio on your behalf while your account is active. We don't claim ownership of your content.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is". We're not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
